Questions about Retirement Savings Plans? There is a guide that can help
Doctor Finance Guide answers the most frequently asked questions, which are usually posed to the company specializing in personal finance.
Doctor Finance announced the launch of a guide on Retirement Savings Plans (PPR), which aims to answer the most frequently asked questions, which are usually posed to the company specializing in personal finance.
"The PPR is one of the financial products best known by the Portuguese, namely for its tax benefits. However, this product can have many features and can be used for different purposes. Most of the Portuguese do not know this. Preparing for retirement is increasingly important to be able to maintain our financial freedom when we stop working", highlights Nuno Leal, Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Doctor Finanças, quoted in a statement to which Notícias ao Minuto had access.
Doctor Finance recalls that PPR is a" financial instrument that allows us to make our money profitable in the long term, helping to ensure a more stable financial situation in retirement", which means that"the sooner we start investing, the greater the value we will have when we retire, being certain that we can enjoy attractive tax benefits in our IRS".
There are two types of PPR: PPR funds and PPR insurance
It is an investment where there is no guaranteed capital, and we can choose a fund according to the level of risk we want to take. PPR insurance, on the other hand, are products in which capital, as a rule, is guaranteed, with a minimum income, without major associated risks", clarifies doctor Finance.
